It won many battles in the indigo league as well as other leagues for Ash. It appears in many episodes which show his relevance. It is immune against ground type pokemon, highly resists against bug, grass, fighting, steel, fairy, and fire type pokemon. But, it is weak against electric, water, and rock type pokemon.
